Discussion of President Clinton's Radio Address regarding school violence. The author feels that despite it's potential benefits, there is nothing that should make us blind sheep to the slaughter about it. We shouldn't just accept an unconditional uniform policy without first attacking the seat of the fire of school violence and drug use.

This article is a piece regarding the fight many southern parents are putting up against mandatory school uniforms or dress codes. The parents claim that such measures infringe upon students constitutional rights to free speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the media. The parents have levied lawsuits against the schools, and many of those have been thrown out by judges along the way.

School CAN have uniforms and they are not a violation of rights. The courts decided that despite the arguements, the uniforms and dress codes were not in violation of students constitutional rights.
